The Cape Buffalo is a very large formidable bovid, with a very bad temper. The Cape Buffalo is one of the Big Five, and is considered to be one of the most dangerous animals to be encountered on a hunt. At times it has been likened to having the look of “someone you owe money to that you shouldn’t have borrowed it from” – all with good reason. As these animals have such a bad temper, they should be taken very seriously.
